Snoooooork

We've had some fun this past week with Amalia's head cold that turned into an ear ache which spawned regular updates of how she was feeling during the night about every hour or two. She was quite vociferous in announcing her displeasure. And when we soothed her and told her everything was all right, she gets louder, as if to say "Au contraire, it is very much NOT all right!"

Next thing you know, its 3am and we're up for the third time and now everyone's yelling about what to do, only a little because we are frustrated but mostly because we can't hear each other.

Surprised the neighbors have not called the authorities.

AND THEN, she would be just fine and happy and giggly throughout the day, with only an occasional lip smack as the snot seeps into her mouth... My daughter, Jekyll and Hyde.

Have not had a full night's sleep in about a week. I've been begging Kirsten to get a massage (paid for months ago!) or do a yoga class, but she is in baby obsession mode and if she's not working or attending to baby she's got her nose in a book about how to introduce solid foods, how to make baby food, or how to get her to sleep all night ("No-Cry Sleep Solution") or sign language for babies... =)

Other than that, we're fine and having a lot of fun, even if I don't make it sound like it. Hopefully the pictures show some.
