amalia is 15 months old today

We had Amalia's 15 month doc appt today. She is very healthy! She did not like her shots though. The poor girl got 3 in the arms. Her weight and height are just above the 50th percentile and her head continues to be in the 95th percentile. She is doing great with speaking and walking and playing and whatever else toddlers do at her age. She is still not sleeping through the night, usually waking up about 4:30 in the morning. It could be worse! Some parents wake up every couple of hours so we should feel lucky (right Jon?!).

Here are the latest words from Amalia's vocabulary with her pronunciation in parentheses:
• recent: bubbles (buh-buhs), sit down (si doww), star (sss-tahh), please (peesh)
• in the last month or so: happy (happy), apple (app-oh), banana (nana) , tummy (dummy), eyes (ice)

She's been singing a bit too! I don't know what the heck she is singing but it is definitely song-like (not talking). She also says "row row row" when you sing "Row row row your boat."
