language skills are growing!

Amalia woke up Sunday morning and Jon got her up and changed her diaper and all that while I was still in bed. Then he said "Wanna go see mama?" and she said "yeah!" so he put her down and I heard her scamper over to my side of the bed.

"Mama... git up! Mama git up!" I was stunned at what I was hearing and turned my head toward her. She was super smiley and happy to see me. I gave her a smooch and then she said "Mama, time to git up!" Time to get up??? Where is she learning this? I thought it was pretty cute so I had to share. :)
